PlayStation Plus offers several free games each month as part of the subscription.
These games may be classic or recent games that you may have overlooked. In the past, Playstation Plus has offered games like A Plague Tale: Innocence, Days Gone, or Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Each game is only available for a certain period, and if you redeem them before they change, they will be available for download in your library at any time.
Once you’ve added a game to your library, you can play it as long as you maintain your Playstation Plus subscription. To redeem and play Playstation Plus games, you must have an active subscription of 7.99@ per month. A 3-month subscription costs $24.99 and a 12-month subscription costs $59.99.
If you have a PlayStation 5 and PS Plus subscription, you also get access to the PlayStation Plus Collection, a solid selection of select PS4 games available for download.

How to download Playstation Plus games from PlayStation 5
There are two ways to download Playstation Plus games on PS5.
The first is through the Libraries section on Playstation 5. You can open this section by selecting the Libraries icon in the upper right corner of the PlayStation home screen.
Here you can view and download all your games. If you press R1 twice, you’ll be taken to the PlayStation Plus tab, where the PS Plus Collection appears first and then, a little bit down, links to all the PS Plus games of the month.
The second way is through the Playstation Store.
Open the Playstation Store by selecting the icon from the left corner of the Games section of the Playstation main menu.
Once the store loads, triple-tap R1 to navigate to the Subscriptions menu. Here, you’ll find a badge that shows the games currently available on Playstation Plus.
Press the X on the poster, and you’ll see several icons: one for the PS Plus Collection and one for the PS5 and PS4 Games of the Month. Press X on each icon, then click Add to Library, and they will become yours.
How to Remotely Download Playstation Plus Games on PS5
You can also download Playstation Plus games to your PS5 remotely from the Playstation Store website or the official PlayStation App for iOS and Android.
For them to download to your PS5, you need to activate Stay Connected to the Internet.
First, make sure your PS5 is connected to the Playstation Network to stay connected to the Internet.
Go to Settings, System, and find Energy Saving. Tap Features Available in Sleep Mode.
In Features available in Rest Mode, you must check the Stay connected to the Internet and Turn on PS5 from the network checkboxes.
When your PlayStation 5 is in sleep mode, it will download the Playstation Plus games of your choice from the Playstation Store.
How to download Playstation Plus games from PlayStation 4
There are two ways to download Playstation Plus games on PS4.
The first is through the Playstation Plus section on Playstation 4. You can open this section by selecting the Playstation Plus icon in the upper left corner of the PlayStation home screen.
Here you can view and download the latest Playstation Plus games. If you uninstall games you previously redeemed on Playstation Plus from your console, you can also re-download them.
The second way is through the Playstation Store.
Open the Playstation Network Store by selecting its icon from the Playstation’s main menu.
Once the store loads, scroll down the left menu until you find PS Plus. Here you’ll find games currently available on Playstation Plus and download them.
How to Remotely Download Playstation Plus Games on PS4
You can also download Playstation Plus games remotely to your PS4 from the Playstation Store website or the official PlayStation App for iOS and Android.
For them to download to your PS4, you need to activate automatic updates.
First, make sure your PS4 is connected to the Playstation network to activate automatic updates.
Go to Settings and find Energy Saving Settings. Set what features are available in Rest Mode. You must check the Stay connected to the Internet and Enable PS4 from network checkboxes.
Go back to the main Settings menu, System, and select Automatic Downloads. On this page, you must check the Application Update File box.
When your PlayStation 4 is in sleep mode, it will download the Playstation Plus games of your choice from the Playstation Store.
How long can I keep Playstation Plus games?
If you cancel your Playstation Plus subscription, you will lose access to games downloaded through Playstation Plus.
If you renew your Playstation Plus subscription later, you will regain access to all games you previously downloaded through Playstation Plus.
