The popular PC FPS valorant is developed for consoles as a prototype

Valiotant by Riot Games has certainly conquered the PC community in the last few months in the storm and offers a convincing alternative to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. After a longer beta phase, it is now officially available as a 1.0 experience, but it remains exclusive to the PC at the time of writing. But that could change in the future.

As part of an interview with gamespot, the executive producer Anna Donlon was asked if the team has plans to valorant to bring other platforms. She said, We are definitely a prototype, but there is a way to play this game, and there is a way to experience this game, from which we are not sure if it is completely translated into console game. Donlon explains that competitive integrity is the heart of Valorant, and its designers fear that PC players have an unfair advantage over those who use a controller. This problem is due to the fact that Riot Games would like to offer the same experience on all platforms.

If we feel that we can deliver this experience to these platforms, we will definitely do it. But we really want that valorant for a certain type of gameplay and a certain kind of experience. It says that the console ports for valorant were not the focus from the beginning, so that any type of PlayStation support would have to be implemented later.

Although valorant may not be available on PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation 5 for some time, it still remains a way if Riot Games feel that it can offer the same kind of experience on a whole line. Would you play Valorant on PS5? Let s know us in the comments below.
